I try not to be completely autobiographical online. One should never let reality get in the way of poetry.

Mmmmm....so true, and so powerful. Those lost opportunities. And the lines, "I'm married to the habit/of wanting, not getting" is giving me a chill.

There's always a point before which I'm not sure I'll even feel like finishing a poem. Those two lines pretty much mark that point.
